GRAMODESKA 2008 (Gramo-disc 2008) Gots Its Winners

The second volume of this competition has brough new rules – especially dividing competitors into two cathegories (25 and 30 years) which appeared to be optimal. Younger and older participants also received equivalent album time which means a double-album is going to be created by winners of Gramodeska 2008. I dare to say this is going to be a really variegated compilation of young people´s compositions which will hardly have a competitor of equal value in Czech and Slovak Republic this year.

The competition does not have an ultimate winner. Judges deliberately do not differ among first, second and third place as to points, because these positions are commonly equally superior and an aim of this musical project is not to establish a winner in music.

Together there were 204 works of 62 authors competing. Through semi-final 41 works made it to final. A jury, consisting of celebrities of czech musical scene, representants of media and representants of “Primary Art Schools” choose the best. The GRAMODESKA 2008 gots its winners.
